It’s been a moment since I’ve done a Top 5 Tuesday post but hopefully with my free time now I’ll be able to do them more this month. This week’s topic are books I meant to Read in 2022 and the answer is….so many. To answer this I thought I’d look at my past tbrs this year and see what books I never got around to.

Wundersmith by Jessica Townsend
I absolutely loved the first book but unfortunately haven’t been able to start this yet. I can’t wait to dive back into the world. The audiobook for the first book was really good so I’ll definitely be listening to the audiobook when I pick Wundersmith up.
Chaos Walking (The Knife of Never Letting Go) by Patrick Ness
This was in my January tbr and that was the last time I mentioned it. It sounds so good but again just haven’t picked it up.
Off the Record by Camryn Garrett
I borrowed this book from the library but ran out of time and had to return it. I completely forget about this book until I was going through my past tbrs/hauls and might see if I can find it at the library again.
The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell
This book pops up on my tbrs in the past but still haven’t started it. Even though I’m sure I’m going to love it I think it’s the fact it’s a series and I know I take so long with series (as you can from the book above this!).
Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
Dorothy Must Die was one of the books I had in my ‘Books I’ll Definitely Read in 2022‘ Top 5 post back in January and as you can tell I haven’t read it yet. I even explained how it’s just been sitting on my shelves for years now so this was the year to read it but oh well. Who knows maybe a Christmas miracle might occur and I’ll have read it by the end of the year haha.

So many series I wanted to finish this year! I’m the absolute worst at starting a series and then moving on to another first book in a new series. I don’t think I’ve finished a series in years. I’m actually making a list of series I want to finish in 2023, so hopefully I’ll be able to make a dent.

I’m the exact same! I will get through the first book fine and even if I love it I just struggle finishing the rest ’cause it’s like I’ve gotten my fix for either the genre or world, it that makes sense hahaha. Wishing you luck on your list! 😀
