This week, as the title says, is all about rainy day reads! Rainy days can make me a bit sleepy so I thought I’d gather a list of reads that are fun to read as it pours outside.
The Heartstopper series by Alice Oseman
I know this is such a recurring series you’ve probably seen in a lot of blogs, including mine, but they are cute and cosy reads. I feel like you could get through a couple of them throughout the day.
Manga classics
I love my collection of Manga classics. I always want to read classics but unfortunately the language and formalities kinda go over my head and doesn’t grab my attention well which always stops me. These adaptations are perfect and done so well.
The Diviners by Libba Bray
On a rainy day you might feel like getting into a spooky mode and I feel like The Diviners would set the tone nicely.
Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend
This is another great option if you want a magical vibe but in a middle grade. I always loved the description of this, which is on the cover, as Alice in Wonderland meets Harry Potter. I feel like that covers the vibe perfectly.
My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton
This is simply a light-hearted read with a magical, funny twist on history. Lady Jane Grey, romance and animal transformation…
