What Are You Currently Reading?
I am still reading Deathnote Vol. 3 (Black Edition) by Tsugumi Ohba and King of the South by Calia Read. King of the South is a spin off book from The Surviving Trace series as it focuses on Livingston (Etienne’s brother) but can be read as a stand alone. I loved The Surviving Trace and was in the mood for a historical romance, also, I missed this world.
What Did You Recently Finish Reading?
The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
I finished the book in pretty much a day. Out of the three books in this series, sadly this might be my least favourite. I still enjoyed as I finished in a day and it covered important topics, it definitely held a different overall vibe from the other two books. It definitely has a sadder vibe from what both characters are facing. I agree with reviews saying that even though it’s a romance it’s not as much in the fore front as the previous two books as it’s more about self acceptance within each other. It was still a good read but just held a different feel than what I was expecting.
