The Currently Reading Tag

Hey everyone! How are we all doing?

I found this tag on Sarah’s @ Year of Reading Dangerously blog. I don’t know who originally created this tag so if any of you do let me know in the comments 🙂

How many books do you usually read at once?

I think normally two but I can do three. It works if they aren’t from the same genre or at least have different, distinct stories. That way it’s easy for me to switch. I always have at least one physical book and one ebook.

How do you decide when to switch between multiple reads?

I don’t really know. Maybe if I just want a break say from fantasy so I drift to a contemporary book to balance it out.

Do you ever switch bookmarks partway through a book?

Only if I was temporarily using something as a bookmark until I find one but otherwise no.

Where do you keep the books you’re currently reading?

Anywhere and everywhere hahaha. At the end of the day I always put them on my bedside table.

What time of day do you read most?

Anytime of the day I can read. The time I read the most is maybe the afternoon and night.

How long do you typically read in one session?

It depends on the day. I can read for only half an hour to a few hours at a time. Depends on what plans I have during the day.

Do you read hardcovers with dust jacket off?

Yeah as I don’t want to ruin the dust jacket as I have cats and loving to bite my books to get my attention. Also, it can be annoying to hold at times as dust jacket can slide off.

What position do you mainly use to read?

Currently, sitting on my couch with my legs tucked underneath me. Or lying on my bed.

Do you take your current read with you everywhere you go?

Yeah pretty much as one of my current reads is normally an ebook or audio.

How often do you update your Goodreads reading progress?

I update whenever I start/finish a book or made a significant enough progress to add. But I check in on Goodreads nearly everyday to see what people are reading and to find new books.
