Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo (Chapter 3)
Before watching the new season of Shadow and Bone, I am rewatching the first season. Rewatching it has made me want to start Crooked Kingdom as I really enjoyed the Six of Crows and those characters are my absolute favourite.
Barbarians Touch (Ice Planet Barbarians #7) by Ruby Dixon (page 235)
For a while I’d been in a little reading slump and books like these are great just to keep my reading going or starting it up again. They’re just easy going and quick.
What Did You Just Finish Reading?
The Unknown Beloved by Amy Harmon
This was my third Amy Harmon and can still say I very much love her writing, and her research behind the novels. Even though I was aware going into this would have darker themes as it revolves around investigating murders, Amy Harmon doesn’t hold back on descriptions of what happened in the crimes. I will say that. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narrator. I’m always weary when it’s a sole male narrator at times but as it’s following Michael Malone it makes sense, and he did a good job.
What am I Planning on Reading Next?
Recently, added The Secret History by Donna Tartt to my shelves so I’m hoping to read that sometime soon!
