What are You Currently Reading?
I am currently reading She Speaks: The Power of Women’s Voices by Yvette Cooper. I’m only around 40 pages into the book but I’m really enjoying it so far. Reading about women in history and their speeches to help make a change.
I’m also supposed to be reading the Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern but there has been pretty much no progress. Kinda put me in a slump for a bit as I wasn’t really reading much of it even though I liked the story. I just wasn’t being pulled to keep picking it up.
What Did You Just Finish Reading?
Earlier this week I finished the graphic novel version of Sense and Sensibility by Nancy Butler. I always love finding adaptations and different versions of classics. I feel like it’s a great way to introduce them if the novel version or language is intimidating, like how I find them most times.
What Are You Planning on Reading Next?
I want to pick up a romance. Not too sure which one yet but I want to read a fun romance soon.
