Hello everyone! Hope you’re well and having a lovely week!
I’m a few days late! This week for Top 5 Tuesday it’s a freebie week where we can choose our own topic this time round. As it’s February I thought it was fitting to do one based on some of my favourite book couples/relationships. One mistake by choosing this is that I have no idea how I’m going to narrow it down to just five so here’s some of my favourite book couples (+ honourable mentions).
Top 5 Tuesday is currently hosted over at Meeghan reads (originally started over at Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm).
Audrey Rose and Thomas Cresswell – Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Mansicalco
These two from start to finish I loved. From their first encounter and interactions I had a feeling they would become a fave. I even have a little art polaroid of them on my shelve above the book series. Just their chemistry is *chef’s kiss*. Even though the series wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea it fitted nicely for me.
Zuzana and Mik – Night of Cake and Puppets (+ throughout Daughter of Smoke and Bone series)
Just loved their storyline and interactions throughout the series. They were so cute and knew I had to read Night of Cake and Puppets because it’s focus is on them.
Kaz and Inej – Six of Crows
Even though I’ve only read Six of Crows and they’re not official but Kaz and Inej have my heart. Their pining and how they find comfort with each other and notice the subtleties within each of their character.
Anne and Gilbert – Anne of Green
Since I was little Anne and Gilbert was the couple I loved reading about and watching. Especially with the 1985 mini series which started my love for Anne of Green Gables.
Anne and Thomas – What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon
This is one of my all time favourite books even though I’ve only read it once and scared to reread in case it doesn’t hit the same (though I’m sure it will). Anne and Thomas relationship was so gentle and sweet and oh by the end I was crying from happiness.
And because I couldn’t just leave it to only five because it’s a struggle not to, I’m gonna do a few honourable mentions:
- Maddie and Logan – When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare
- Theta and Memphis – Lair of Dreams (Diviners novel) by Libba Bray
- Serene and Etienne – The Surviving Trace by Calia Read
- Nick and Charlie – Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
Oh my god I’m gonna stop as that’s nearly another five (whoops). Maybe I should’ve done a separate post for this hahaha cause seems like I’ve got quite a list but hey it was fun to pick a topic this week 😀
Until next time…

Audrey and Thomas are couple goals for me. They truly love each other for who they are.
