Hello, hope you’re having a lovely day!
Top 5 Tuesday was originally hosted by Shanah @Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted over by Meeghan @Meeghan reads.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
This might be the year I finally read a Sarah J Maas book. Out of all of them I want to start with A Court of Thorns and Roses. I think I’ve been putting them off as well because of how many there are in all of her series but I definitely want to start it this year.
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
I always hear the writing is beautiful and the book looks gorgeous. I would like to pick it up this year (also haven’t read The Night Circus either so that’ll be another option). I just hear good things about Erin Morgenstern’s books and her writing.
The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell
Everything about this series sounds like everything I’ll love; historical setting, time travel, slow burn romance and magic. I don’t know why I haven’t read it yet and I can’t remember if I mentioned it last year as well.
Agatha Christie
I have a collection of Agatha Christie books and I’ve only read a small handful so I would love to read at least a couple more this year.
She Speaks (The Power of Women’s Voices) by Yvette Cooper
It’ll be nice to read more non-fiction and this is one I’ve yet to read that’s on my shelf. She Speaks is a book consisting of speeches women have made throughout history, starting from AD 60 to 2019.
Until next time…
xx
Ooh, enjoy the SJM books!! ACOTAR is one of my faves because I LOVE a good Beauty and the Beast retelling!! Thanks for joining this week π

I hope you enjoy ACOTAR. I read it this year after hearing so much about it but it wasnβt for me. The Yvette Cooper book definitely sounds interesting though

Aw I’m sorry it wasn’t for you, it’s always so upsetting especially when you hear so much hype about it. I have heard mixed reviews about the series (or all of her series) so I’m nervous to find out whether I’ll love it or not haha. Yes it sounds so interesting I’m hoping it’ll be a good read π

I think Iβm definitely in the minority π Hope that you enjoy it

I enjoyed the ACOTAR books a lot – but I found the first one to be a bit mediocre.
So, don’t let yourself be deterred should you not instantly love them!

Ahhkay thank you for the heads up! I recently found a dramatised audiobook version so I’m hoping that’ll help me π₯°βΊοΈ
