Bookish Resolutions 2023 | Top 5 Tuesday

Hello everyone! Hope you are well ☺️

Top 5 Tuesday was originally hosted by Shanah @Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted over by Meeghan @Meeghan reads.

This week is all about those bookish resolutions.

Finishing series

As always I’m slow with getting through series or stop halfway and forget to finish them. It’s still my mission to work through my series that I’ve started or abandoned and see if I can complete them.

Prioritising books on my shelves than new books/buys

I say this as I’m already wanting to read the new books I’ve bought (I’ll be posting a mini haul soon!). I definitely forget about the books that have been on my TBR for forever and go straight to my newer books. This year I hope to at least even it out and focus on them more.

Using my bullet journal to track my reading more and readathons

I do little spreads here and there but don’t do much else or put much effort into it. This year I want to take the time in my bullet journal to track my reading and do fun pages for the readathons I join.

Use my Kindle more

As I have the Kindle app on my phone I have a bad habit of neglecting my actual Kindle. I’ve started to pick it up more and hope to continue this as it’ll also mean I’ll be off my phone more often.

Start utilising my NetGalley account

I’ll go through stages of being up to date on my NetGalley then stages where I don’t use it at all. It’ll be nice to keep up with it consistently and help build my account on it.

Do you have any bookish resolutions this year?

Until next time…

Xx

  1. Spectacular blog Suzanna😊. I really enjoyed reading it and what is interesting is that your are keen on the bookish resolutions, that’s admirable. I really don’t think I will do bookish resolutions this year but maybe I will change my mind who knows. Also, I like the fact that you want to read new books that cool😁✔✔
