The Afternoon Tea Book Tag | Book Tag

Hello everyone! Hope you’re well today/tonight 😀

I came across this tag on Kristen Kraves Books and loved it! It looks so cute and the tag was originally created on Incessant Bookworm’s blog.

Finger Sandwiches – A Book You Savoured Every Minute Of

What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon

I know I have mentioned this book a few times throughout my blog since I read this last year and I still think about it. It’s just a book that has my heart and I’m so happy about the random decision of buying it on a whim.

Biscuits – A Book That Can Be Finished in One Sitting

The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams

Apart from graphic novels that I could finish in a day The Bromance Book Club was the first book I finished in a day. I even amazed myself because I’ve never done that! Technically, it wasn’t in one sitting, as I started it one morning, brought it with me to my appointment so I could read in the waiting room then as soon as I got home I sat on the couch and didn’t move until I finished it. I just found this book so much fun and light hearted as well as it being able guys (a group of friends) having a book club where they read romance books to help either their marriage, current relationship or even ways about how to get into a relationship. It’s just so sweet and never read about that before so I found it refreshing.

Scones – A Book Everyone Should Own

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas

This plus the audiobook was amazing. There was so much heart and power in this book. As soon as I finished it I immediately recommended this book to someone in my family and they too flew through this book and found it a powerful read.

Patisserie – A Book That is Light and Easy to Read

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

Another romance I flew through. Found it cute and loved some of the topics and representation.

Showstopper – A Book That Blew You Away

If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio

When I started this book I was expecting it like it a be a bit intrigued by it. Pretty much I didn’t go in with high expectations like how I usually do and I think that’s why I was so surprised on how much I was sucked into this mystery.

Tea – A Heart Warming Classic

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery or Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Anne of Green Gables and Little Women, both books and film, are a comfort go to for me. I will never get tired of these two stories as I grew up with them.

Until next time…

Xx

  1. Little Women is the book I list as my favorite of all time. I love the movie too (original with Winona Ryder) and will watch it when I need a comfort movie.

I may need to do this tag, so I’m gonna save the link in order to refer later. Have a great day!
