WWW Wednesday | 28th Sept 2022

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely day/night.

WWW Wednesday is a meme that is now hosted by Sam @ Taking On a World of Words.

The three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What Are You Currently Reading?

Gods and Monsters by Shelby Mahurin

I’m hoping to finally finish the Serpent and Dove trilogy soon. I went ages not reading it thinking I had already read it but turns out I haven’t. I have been liking it but at the same time I’ve found myself drifting in and out and I’m worried that it’s going to fall into the category where the reading experience is ruined by just wanting to get through so it’s another series finished, you know?

For now I’ve given it a rest and see if I’ll get back to it.

Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb

My mental health has been low recently and found myself picking up this book. It’s an interesting concept as it’s about a therapist who is seeking out their own therapist after a breaking as well as trying to continue on with her life as a therapist and human being. It’s basically the theme nobody’s life is perfect, everyone has their struggles and I’ve still at the beginning but I’m loving the writing and the vibe. As soon as I started I found myself grabbing my pencil and underlining, annotating, pretty much living my mark on this book.

What Did You Recently Finish?

Their Vicious Darling by Nikki St. Crowe

This is the third book in a dark retelling of Peter Pan, definitely an adult romance and very quick reads.

What do You Think You’ll Read Next?

I hope to start getting onto my October TBR soon for the Hocus Pocus readathon starting on the 1st.

My latest post is all about it if you’d like to check it out or feeling a bit curious 🙂

Hope you’re all having a good reading month!

Until next time…

xx
