Books That Remind You of a Season | Top 5 Tuesday

Hello all! Hope you’re doing well!

Tuesday is upon us once again and this week it’s all about books that remind you of a season! I’ve based my five based on the vibe the book covers give me when I look at them. Whether they actually are set in the actual season or not haha.

Top 5 Tuesday was originally created by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted on Meeghan’s blog @MeeghanReads.

Summer – Beach Read by Emily Henry

Beach is in the title and I think that immediately screams Summer! Rom-coms just fit the summer vibes for me and Beach Read sounds like the perfect Summer read. From the title down to the cover.

Spring – Portrait of a Scotsman by Evie Dunmore

I think the whole series (A League of Extraordinary Women) fits the Spring vibes but especially the purple on this cover. It reminds me of flowers.

Winter – Winterhouse by Ben Guterson and The King of the South by Calia Read

For this one I couldn’t decide which one out of these two so I thought I’d include them both! Winterhouse seemed like a great choice as there is Winter in the literal title and for The King of the South the cover and colours give me major Winter vibes. The blue and silver are such a wintery combination. Both of these books sounds like they would be perfect to read while being cosy.

Autumn – Fable by Adrienne Young

Again, it’s the colours and also it being a YA fantasy/romance fits an Autumn vibe too. Autumn seems like a nice season for a bit of an adventure and a romance. It’s one of my favourite seasons.
