Books About A Death | Top 5 Tuesday

Hello everyone! How are we all today/tonight?

I’m a day late for this but I want to try and get back into the routine of Top 5 Tuesday as I’ve missed a few weeks.

Top 5 Tuesday is upon us again! Top 5 Tuesday was originally created by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted on Meeghan’s blog @ Meeghan Reads.

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

I felt like it would be good to include Little Women as a death plays an important role in the character’s lives. The grief process before and after it occurs as well as how it can bring family even closer.

Death by Laura Thalassa

I think the title is a big give away of the contents of the story haha. This is the final book in the Four Horseman series where Death has now plagued the land, wherever he goes people die and he will continue until Earth is wiped out. The only thing that can stop him is a girl who can’t be killed.

If We Were Villains by M.L Rio

If We Were Villains focuses on the theme of death of a friend as well as testing the bonds of friendships. It’s a case that was resolved but was ever really solved? The entire plot focuses on whether Oliver (who served ten years) was really innocent or truly guilty after all…

The Unknown Beloved by Amy Harmon

A murder mystery set in Chicago in the 1920’s. The story begins with the main character’s parents death when she was little and fifteen years later, now that she’s older, she’s on the hunt to find the killer.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Agatha Christie was also one I felt the need to mention as stories revolving around deaths and mystery. And Then There Were None is one of the biggest mysteries out of her collection. As you can guess this story plot revolved heavily around death.

Hope everyone’s been having a good week so far!

Until next time…

    1. I did enjoy it! As long as you’re not bored of the similar theme throughout the series.
Thank you! Happy to do another post and hopefully will start it up again. Yes I’m loving the different themes 💕
