Books With Doorways | Top 5 Tuesday

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well!

It’s Tuesday so time for Top 5 Tuesday. Top 5 Tuesday was originally created by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted on Meeghan’s blog @ Meeghan Reads.

This month is different as the topics each week involve finding particular things that are featured either in the title or on the cover of the books. These sound fun and up for a challenge so I can’t wait to get into them! This week we are hunting for doorways.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

This book came to my mind straight away because I remember I picked this book up initially in the store because of the cover!

The Grandest Bookshop in the World by Amelia Mellor

It may not be prominent but I loved the design.

Paws Off, Cheddarface by Geronimo Stilton

When I found this I knew I had to add it in as Geronimo Stilton was my go to books when I was younger.

The Switch by Beth O’Leary

This one was perfect for this. I haven’t read any Beth O’leary’s yet but I have been interested in them.

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Lastly, found this on my mum’s book shelves and thought it looked cool as it’s a subtle doorway blended in.

Fun finding all the different types of doorways! I tried finding different ones so it didn’t look all the same and I’m looking forward to see what the next prompts will be.

Until next time..

xx
