Books I Want to Reread in 2022 | Top 5 Tuesday

Hello everyone! Hope you’re doing well!

We’re back with another Top 5 Tuesday. Top 5 Tuesday was originally created by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and is now being hosted on Meeghan’s blog @ Meeghan Reads.

This one was a bit slower to upload as for some reason it took me some time to find five books that I want to reread. It’s always easier to think of all the books I need to read haha!

Lore Olympus Vol. 1 by Rachel Smythe

I first read this on Webtoons, loved it but over time forgot about it. During my last library visit I found a paperback of Vol. 1 so I knew I had to give this a reread. I love the art and presentation of the graphic novel. I love this adaptation of Hades and Persephone and the lives of the gods/goddesses. It also covers deeper topics such as SA and the aftermath as well as looking at toxic relationships.

Anne of Green Gables by L.M Montgomery

I have this gorgeous edition of Anne of Green Gables that I hope I’ll get around to soon. I’ve definitely read the story of Anne of Green Gables a couple of times and looking forward to this reread.

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I’ve mentioned this book a few times already in the past two months. This year definitely want to reread this so I can continue with the series as I now have them in paperback.

The Surviving Trace by Calia Read

I flew through this series when I first read it and, in a similar situation, I bought the trilogy in paperback so I’m hoping to reread. I just loved this story as it gave me Outlander vibes but set in the 1920s plus the main character having a doppelganger in the past that has the complete opposite type of life and needs to blend in as she tries to find a way to get back to her time.

There’s only four this time as I would’ve named just another series that I’ve shown repeatedly this year already. What books are you hoping to reread this year or sometime?

Until next time…

xx

  1. Great post! I’ve heard so many good things about Lore Olympus, I can’t wait to read it, but I’ve never heard of The Surviving Trace books and those sound intriguing.. Adding them to my TBR now!
Thank you for sharing and I hope you get a chance to read them again!

    1. I loved the way Lore Olympus was told and I think the art is beautiful. Yes I really loved The Surviving Trace series and normally it takes me a while to finish a series but I had to keep reading until the end haha. I hope you enjoy them! ❤️

      1. The art for Lore is what drew me to it first.. I wasn’t sure about the story but I know I’ll love the art. And I love the addictive ones.. You come up for air and three days have passed. 🤭
Thank you! I’m sure I’ll enjoy them quite a bit!

  2. Oh I loved Lore Olympus Vol 1. I always meant to read it on webtoons, but then it was so long and I gave up. I’m so glad Rachel got a publishing deal for it. Good luck with all of these, and hope you had fun this week 💕
