End of Year Book Tag

Hello everyone! How are you today/tonight?

It is the end of 2021. It was definitely a year of ups and downs. New experiences and learning from those experiences. But, as it’s the official last day of 2021 I thought I should end it with the End of Year Book Tag. I’m pretty sure I did this tag last year as well.

Are There Any Books You Started This Year That You Need to Finish?

Out of the books I started this year and haven’t finished, the only one I have left, is The Duke and I (Bridgerton) by Julia Quinn. I got about 10 chapters in before putting it aside because I was in the mood for a new story as I had finished watching the series. I’m about 80-85% through the book now as I’m listening to it on audio and hope to finish it by tonight.

*Update: I just finished!

Do You Have an Autumnal Book to Transition Into the End of the Year?

It’s Summer here in Australia but a book I read as Summer was starting here was Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams. I remember reading it on my lunch breaks in the sun.

Is There a New Release You’re Still Waiting For?

I am looking forward to start reading My Contrary Mary by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows.

What Are Three Books You Want to Read Before the End of the Year?

As today’s the last day of the year I’ll do it for next year. The three books I hope to read by the end of next year are Gods and Monsters by Shelby Mahurin, It’s Not Okay to Feel Blue (and other lies) by Scarlett Curtis and Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Steifvater.

Is There a Book You Think Could Still Shock You and Become Your Favourite Book of the Year?

Not too sure don’t have a specific book in mind. I’m looking forward to any books in the new year that are going to surprise me!

Have You Already Started Making Reading Plans for 2022?

The only thing I have planned so far is January’s readathon and tbr which I’ll post in the next day or so. Other than that I don’t have any plans except to try and get back into reading as this year was a low reading year and even went through a few reading slumps. Towards the end of the year it’s been slowly picking up so I hope to continue that into the new year.

Wish every a Happy New Year and new beginnings. Hope you all have a good day or night!

Until next time…
