Actually it’s funny I’ve neglected my Netgalley account until recently where I’ve become more active on it again and found books I still hadn’t reviewed (some of these I read but not reviewed, others I hadn’t even read yet). So definitely done this.

Nah, I’ve never said anything like that. On Goodreads I just write whatever or even nothing at all. On my blog, if I feel like it, I might write a small paragraph.
Folded down the page of a book

I’m gonna say yes to this. I used to do this when I was younger but don’t anymore but I’ll still count it as a yes.
Accidentally spilled on a book
NO
I may have dropped crumbs here and there from food but never spilled anything. I’m very cautious of that ’cause I know I’ll feel so sad if that ever happened haha.
DNF a book this year
YES
Hmmm this isn’t technically a DNF but kinda is (I don’t know). I did put down a book because I wasn’t in the mood and also because I read it soon after I finished the tv series so I wanted something new.
I’m gonna go with yes but not because I wasn’t enjoying it but wanted a new story.
Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

I’ll admit it a beautiful cover draws me in. I know they say don’t judge a book by its cover but you can’t help but be drawn if they cover is so pretty.

I am guilty of that but it happens mainly when it’s a non-fiction book. I do find myself skimming or trying to read more quickly then needing to backtrack and reread.

Not in the previous years but I feel like this year I might miss my goal as I need to read like another 30 books before the year is out to reach it!
Borrowed a book and not returned it

I’m pretty good at always returning books and don’t really borrow much to begin with as I have so many books I already own that needs to be read.

I’ve never put myself on a book buying ban…maybe I should haha. I’ve been pretty good with buying books and only get them if I really want to read them.
Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about

Again if I do review it’s normally in that moment otherwise I don’t start a review in general in case something like this happens.

I don’t really borrow books much as I have so much to read on my shelves already and even that keeps piling up.

If someone wants to borrow and read one of my books I don’t say no. Not many people borrow my books anyway so it doesn’t matter.

I don’t really borrow other people’s books so I’ll say no to this.
Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged

I feel like one of my cats have found it lying on my desk and I swear they do it to get at me. It’ll end up with a bite mark or rip. You can tell what books I have read as there might be a bite mark in the corner. They know to target my books I swear.
Sat on a book accidentally
YES
I just sit down sometimes without properly looking down and have sat on a book or two. I leave books all over the place.
