Hey everyone! How are you today?
Just like January I’m doing the #StartOnYourShelfathon by CW and working my way through the Magical Winter Readathon by G (Book Roast). ALSO, I decided to set myself a challenge. To track my backlist books for the #StartOnYourShelfathon I’m going to set a goal of 30 books, so 30 books out of all the books I read this year, will be backlist books. Wish me luck!
For the month of February I’ll also be participating in the Contemporary-a-thon. I have already uploaded my Contemporary-a-thon TBR so check that out if you want to know what books I’m planning for that.
Magical Readathon TBR
I completed one of the three challenges that I wanted to complete in January so I’ll be doing the two challenges I didn’t get around too.
- Chapter 2: Book with urban fantasy – The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
- Chapter 2: Book from a book club – Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston or The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell
E-ARCs to Read
- The Opposite of Falling Apart by Micah Good (by 25th)
- Speak Up! by Adora Svitak (by 25th)
Other Books I Hope to Read
- Tweet Cute by Emma Lord
- Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
- Library books
I’m currently reading Alex, Approximately and The Opposite of Falling Apart and I’m enjoying them so far. This is a big reading month. I don’t know how much I’ll get to but I want to prioritise my E-ARCs and at least one book from each section plus my books from Contemporary-a-thon.
Also, help me get an understanding. Backlist books are any books that aren’t newly published and have been sitting on my shelves. If so, does that mean even if I just bought the book but it was published a few years ago, it’s a backlist book? Or only if I’ve had it on my shelf for a while? I get confused on what’s considered it.
What’s your reading plans for February?
Until next time…
xx
I hope you enjoy all that you read!
