Hello everyone! How are you today?
I’ll start, I’m melting! It’s currently over 40 degrees (Celsius) so I don’t know what that is in Fahrenheit but it’s HOT! This is the second day in a row and have tomorrow to go which will be the hottest day. Afterwards it’s supposed to cool down slightly. So, yeah, how are you?
I’m changing up the content from it’s usual bookish goodness and write about stuff I don’t write about much but still love to share. This year I’ve been getting more into make up and wearing more lipsticks. I wanted to share with you guys my go to liquid lipsticks. These will be great for all occasions, subtle looks to lips colours that give you that boost of confidence.
*Brands I’ll be discussing are not sponsored and it’s all my opinion from my experience*
Also, apologies if it’s hard to distinguish the colours in the pictures, I tried my best. So, I’ve provided links to the website if you want to see more about it if you’re interested.

I absolutely love the packaging. The illustrations are beautiful and the size of the product. It’s perfect to fit in you bag and won’t take up a lot of room. The applicator allows it to be a smooth application on the lips. On their website it has a description a being a burnt orange red lipstick. When I saw it I thought it was closer to a deep cherry red. This is a very classic shade.

Again, I love the packaging of it. One thing I was surprised at was the similarities of the shade between this one and the previous liquid lip. In it’s package sometimes it can be hard to distinguish which one is which. The colour description of this one is a rich berry shade. I think it’s either that or kind of a plum shade.

This is RED. You always want one fiery red in your collection and this one is mine. I received this for my birthday and definitely will be my choice if I ever want a bold lip. I feel like I’m repeating myself but I love the packaging. This does stay on a while.

This is the shade ‘Little One’ in the collection and on the picture on the right it is the middle line for the lipstick shade (I’m using the same picture I used from my mini review).
This is a more natural, subtle shade. I use this when I feel like wearing a lipstick but not in the mood for a bold lip. This is alike a little nod to me as I know I’m wearing it so it gives me that little boost. It also comes with the lip liner. That’s the top line shown.
I looked at the Colourpop website to get the link but it seems to have gone now. I think it was only available until stock ran out.
Hope you enjoyed this post! What’s your go to lip products? Do you have a specific colour you always lean to?
Until next time…
