April Wrap Up 2019

Hey everyone! How are you? Hope you’re all having a pleasant day 😊.

I missed last months wrap-up as I felt as if I didn’t have a lot to write about. Which is all good so I thought I’d just continue writing my other posts. I feel like I’ve been having good reading months. I’ve been finishing a few books and I’m really happy about that. Heads up, this wrap-up is more book orientated.

What I’ve Read (I’ll be including all the books I’ve read throughout March as well):

  • Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies) by Scarlett Curtis
  • When a Scott Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare

  • Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Linger by Maggie Steifvater
  • Beastly by Alex Flinn
  • To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

I talked more about the books I read during April in my post O.W.L’s readathon post.

Currently Reading

So far this month book wise I haven’t been too bad. I finished a book already called Heartstoppers by Alice Oseman. Great read! I’m looking forward to the next volume, I’ll definitely be grabbing that when released in July (I think!). I’m also currently reading a few books at once, a book on Kindle, a Manga and novel. They’re all different so I’ll see how I go haha.

For my personal Goodreads Reading Challenge I thought I’d start with a number that would be do able but still a bit of a challenge. 25 books this year is a nice number to just ease into it and get a feel of how much I read. So far I have read 11 books. I’m really happy with my progress.

Only a few days ago I found a new independent bookstore and came out with four new books despite going in just wanting to have a look. I’m definitely going to be doing another book haul soon. There’s so many books that I just want to start reading. Ah so many books so little time…

Month Goal

I’m not quite sure what I want to achieve this month really. If anything it’d be to attempt a blog schedule and try to stick to it. I know I’ve probably said that so many times but I’m not the best at it so I want to get myself organised and into a routine. I noticed last month I posted twice at the beginning of the month and that was it. I need a schedule so then it can motivate me and push me to upload more. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to read them!

What I’ve Been up to:

  • At the beginning of April my family and I went on a lovely mini getaway. Stayed at a resort that was around an hour away from where I lived but was nice to refresh.
  • As I mentioned with my reading list in April I took part in the O.W.L’s readathon 🙂

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick wrap-up. Nothing full-on.

Until next time…

  1. I love a good book. I havent as yet brought myself to get a kindle. Nothing like the smell of a good book and to turn the pages. I have gotten into audiobooks and podcasts lately. Nice for the car or while i am doing house work.
