December 1st: Christmas Tree

Hey guys, how are you all doing?! It’s officially December 1st – whoop whoop! Now, in November the word Blogmas was thrown around on Twitter which caught my attention. I was aware of Vlogmas but I didn’t realise it was a blogging thing as well. I’ve been blogging for a few months now so thought this would be a fun challenge.

So with my love for Christmas + my love for writing, I thought I’d upload some Christmas posts. Just a heads up if I miss a day or two I’m sorry but I will give it my best shot ’cause I really want to try this.

As it’s the first of December I’ve finally put up my Christmas Tree! The perfect way to celebrate the beginning of the festive month and perfect for my first blog post for the month.

This is the perfect size Christmas tree for me. It’s not our main one as we are planning to go to a Christmas tree farm for our first REAL tree. This one is for my room, standing at 4ft, with 150 lights and completely decked out with ornaments. I love having my own tree as I can personalize it with my own decorations and style.

As I put my decorations on I noticed my theme was rose gold, bronze, silver  and black with a bit of a wilderness/nature vibe.

Once the tree is up and lit it feels so magical and makes the start of the festive season official. Christmas is here. Also, I thought that whenever I post throughout December I’ll add a picture of what was in my Advent Calendar (I’ll probably even write about it in another post). My treat in Day One was a Freddo!
